Kanban 4.0 for Special Locations in Gedia

In its commitment to improving logistics efficiency, Gedia Spain has implemented Maccion’s Kanban 4.0® system , designed to automatically manage the supply of materials in special locations . This system, equipped with SMAC100 smart sensors , can reliably detect the presence of material containers, ensuring that stock levels are always optimal and adjusted to production needs.

The challenge of this project was the sensorization in special locations for the material containers, a task that Maccion successfully solved, improving the efficiency of the material flow and optimizing the response time at Gedia’s production plant.
