Logistics Innovation at SEAT with Maccion

SEAT’s 2nd Logistics Innovation Day was a key event to connect logistics, production, quality and IT teams with suppliers specialising in advanced technological solutions. For two days, more than 1,000 SEAT employees participated in a collaborative environment to learn about and experience first-hand the latest logistics innovations, from collaborative robotics to RFID and process automation.

Maccion, as a leading provider of Industry 4.0 solutions, presented its Kanban 4.0 system and smart sensors for inventory management, along with advanced Big Data and geolocation technologies . These innovations allow for the optimization of internal logistics, reduced production times and improved operational efficiency. In addition, attendees were able to vote for their favorite innovations and apply for future pilot tests, integrating these technologies into their own workstations.
